of pots and pans.
Sunday afternoons,
lemon scented and floured,
shine through kitchen windows
warm with the heat of love.
The magnetic pull of
an oven baking fresh scones
is inescapable to
even the most discernible noses.
Kitchen time is family time,
the hub, the heartbeat
of our cozy, crazy home
